Feature Request: Create Sub-Work Items from selected bullet points like in Linear

I would love to see a feature similar to what Linear offers, where you can automatically create Sub-Work Items (Subissues) from bullet points in the description of a Work Item / Issue.

The idea is that I can select one or multiple bullet points within the description using the cursor and then choose an action such as “Create Sub-Work Items”. Plane would then automatically create a separate Sub-Work Item for each selected bullet point, using the bullet point’s text as the title.

This would make it much easier to turn an existing task description or checklist into structured Sub-Work Items without having to manually create each one and copy the content over.

Thanks for the suggestion @Faboe. Just so you know, you can currently do something similar through Pages and Wiki, you can structure your content there and convert it into work items. Also, this has already been noted by the product team and is being considered. We’ll keep you posted as things progress.
