Feature Request: Customize action when clicking on project: View Modules vs. Work Items

When I click on a Project, I want it to take me to the Modules, not the Work Items. All of my Projects have multiple Modules, and I should see this higher level first before diving deeper into the Work Items. It currently skips this logical flow and skips the Modules view, going directly Project [click] → Work Items.

A toggle or similar view customization allowing us to go to Modules or Cycles when clicking on a Project would greatly simply our workflow and prevent confusion with our employees. It’s very confusing to have a nested level skipped.

I’d love an email if this is implemented!
Thx

Hi @EditorAna , appreciate you laying out the use case. There are two navigations in Plane. In the tabbed navigation, clicking a project takes you straight to Work Items in a single click. The sidebar navigation works a little differently, it’s a two-step flow, so you can select Modules on the second click.

On taking you directly to Modules, that’s something we’d check with user research before making changes. That said, we have plans to make the tabbed navigation open the tab you last used in a project, which may help with what you’re after.
