# GitHub Integration not working (cloud)

I set up some PR integrations to move work items across the board but they don’t seem to work. Plane manages to post a comment in the GitHub PR to link the work item but even though I set to move the item to done when it merges, nothing happens.

You need to reference the work item in your GitHub PR using the format [WEB-344]. Please follow this [guide](https://docs.plane.so/integrations/github#reference-formats) to configure your PR, as this format is required for automatic work item state updates when the PR is merged.
