# Need .html uploading option in documents

Thanks for reaching out @arpit_shah. Just to clarify, [`.rar`](https://docs.plane.so/work-items/work-item-details#attach-a-file) is already supported as an attachment.

As for `.html` files, these aren’t supported currently due to security concerns. We’re currently evaluating this and looking at a more holistic solution.

Thanks for sharing the clarification.

Please let me know when can we expect the support of .html files, as this is a critical feature from product team’s standpoint. We couldn’t attach any html files.

We’ll post an update here once `.html` file attachment support is available. In the meantime, you might find the [HTML artifact editor block](https://docs.plane.so/pages/editor-blocks#html-artifact) useful, it lets you embed HTML directly in Pages and Wiki without needing to upload a file. Hope that helps for now.
