LLMs are way better at writing markdown than they are at writing HTML, so it would be a nice quality of life improvement if the MCP supported markdown description submissions instead of, or in addition to, HTML. I looked into it briefly, and it seems like the Plane app uses the tiptap typescript library for frontend conversion and then stores HTML, which makes me think it might be more work than I’m imagining to support markdown task submission via the MCP… Regardless, are there any plans to support markdown task submissions? It gets a little old having to tell my agent to fix descriptions because it formatted all of the checkboxes incorrectly or added twice as many breaks in the HTML as necessary
