Email intake drops inline CID images from Outlook emails

Hi There, Loving plane so far but I’m running into an issue where embedded email intake images dont come through from outlook clients.
Plane creates the issue but does not convert those inline images into attachments/assets. The issue HTML keeps src=“cid:…” and images appear broken in UI.

I’m using
Plane self-hosted, Docker Compose
Email service image tested: makeplane/email-commercial:v2.6.1
Storage: AWS S3 working (read/write verified from API container)

Glad you’re loving Plane :grin:. This is a known limitation with inline images. As a workaround, try sending the images as regular email attachments instead. Those come through in Intake correctly.

OK thanks, that doesnt entirely work all of the time as we were looking at plane as a helpdesk replacement..
Do you know anything about the Desk feature coming? We’re currently using Zammad for helpdesk and would love to integrate it with Plane!
